Crazy weather days this time of the year. Hot one day, cold the next so I've just decided I'm gonna roll along...
Whether the weather be cold, or whether the weather be hot;
Whether the weather be fine, or whether the weather be not,
We'll weather the weather whatever the weather, whether we like it or not.
Sometimes as we look back the weather behaved itself. In the spring, the little flowers came out obediently in the fields, and the dew sparkled, and the birds sang.
In the summer it was beautifully hot for no less than four months, and, if it did rain just enough for agricultural purposes, they managed to arrange it so that it rained while you were in bed.
In the autumn the leaves flamed and rattled before the west winds, tempering their sad adieu with glory.
And in the winter, we can count on which can be confined by statute to few months, the snow lay evenly, maybe three feet thick, but never turned into slush.
Weather is a great metaphor for life — sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, and there's nothing much you can do about it but, carry a coat, carry an umbrella or choose to dance in the rain or play in the snow!
One good thing... Nine-tenth of the people could not start a conversation if the weather did not change.
Have A Wonderful Wet, Cold, Hot, Dry Whatever Day!
Nana
