My heart ached as I watched yet again suffering at our family's very doorstep.
Three years ago I would have never thought I would have to pick up the ashes of my son in-law and then have to hand them over to my eldest daughter... (his widow)
As I watched, my heart broke into a million pieces.
Her sorrow was almost unbearable. The grieving for the lost part in her heart, the journey now she would walk without him, with their dreams cut short.
And... The days raising their child without her father.
A part of life we all dread...
A part of life I too have sadly experienced myself.
She became a second time members of a club that none of us wish on anyone.
This tragedy & others plus old age has finally lead me to an even more awakening fact...
"Our job on earth isn't to criticize, reject, or judge.
Our purpose is to offer a helping hand, compassion, and mercy.
We are to do unto others as we hope they would do unto us.”
