The road was hot for Duane & I today.

Our run took us down to where the Mississippi meets the Gulf.

Saw Fort Jackson which was constructed after the War of 1812 on the advice of Andrew Jackson, for whom it is named. It is situated approximately 70 miles south of New Orleans on the western bank of the Mississippi.

Also caught a few pics of things that seemed of interest...

It was a fantastic day of a solitary roam in Louisiana. Good Day In The Neighborhood!
