Yesterday was another impromptu run. Since the high temperature was low 60's - the day was a definitely a cooler ride. The warm short sleeves days has spoiled me. I only made a short 70 mile loop.
I stopped for lunch at The Coffee Pot Cafe. This is a family owned-operated cafe in the quaint old Mississippi town of Lucedale.
The dining area was modern, clean and attractive atmosphere. The food is was even better. I opted for the especially yummy & huge chicken salad croissant sandwich with sweet potato fries. Then to make the experience extra special, I spurged for the Carrot - Cheesecake/pie.
I could not have asked for a better waitress... she was excellent! She never let the cup run dry... Great food, service and prices. What was not to love.
I understand from the town regulars that the business was named for an old Lucedale favorite restaurant from the past. They said they thought the new one is even better than the original. 👍
I can tell you it was a great day & this place was definitely a do over experience someday!
