I'm in Pensacola. Florida.
Been Beach roaming.
Pensacola Beach has been ranked one of the most popular beaches for years.
It is 18 miles of beautiful white sand.
Locals here often call it “sugar white sand”. You’ll immediately notice that the sand isn’t brown or grey, like some coastal beaches. It’s indeed white!
Not only is the sand white, but it’s sparkly! That’s because it’s made up of small pieces of quartz that traveled all the way down from the Appalachian Mountains to finally end up on the shores.
I also did the mandatory stop at a Walmart. 😅
