Yes today my post will be short and sweet because of the world event that has all of us changing our lives as we know it. People are on edge — stressed, anxious, and scared — and then we tune in to the news and see yet another person, whether family, friend, neighbor, celebrity or essential worker has died of the "coronavirus". Pranks or not it is not going to be funny for this day, it's only going to cause more distress.
Google and other corporation has announced that they are canceling any April Fools day activities or campaign that they are known to sponsor.
