4/12/2022 A Little Wind, Sun and Eats Kinda Day...

Today's adventure was a relaxing ride to Mashes Sand Beach near Panacea, Florida.

Panacea is a perfect place for boaters, anglers, nature lovers and adventurers, for those who want to gaze out by over the wide open waters of the Gulf or the wildlife-abundant tidal marshes and towering pines forests of the Apalachicola National Forest.

A little history of the area... The local community was known as Smith Springs until 1893 when some Bostonians purchased the land about the five springs and renamed the town Panacea, after the goddess of universal remedy, because of the curative properties of the waters. It was a beautiful place for a relaxing afternoon.

Plus an added bonus of finding a restaurant nearby with some mouth watering fish & gyros & Greek potatoes.😋

Another Great Day In The Neighborhood!
