It's referred to as “The Hostess City of the South,” Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia and has a long and colorful history that attracts millions of visitors each year. Yes... now Jim can count himself a new visitor. He loved the cobblestone streets and public parks and the most unique Antebellum architecture of the South,
Savannah is an old beauty that has aged with grace and we could not wait to experience as much as we could today.
It was a full day with the motorcycles zipping round Savannah. Ok, maybe crawling around the busy streets.
We visited Forsyth Park, buzzed around a few historical homes and other sections of downtown on the trolley. We meandered to The River Front to experience the wonderful views and a ferry ride.
Then we walked a fantastic late lunch at "The Pirate House."
A ride back on the free trolley through town...
It was definitely a full day of walking, eating & riding so... these old geezers are tired puppies! 😒
Until It Begins Tomorrow...
