This time last year, Governors in many states had issued a stay-at-home advisory putting restaurant dining at a standstill. However, this Sunday was a much different scenario with people eating out in huge numbers. We ate at out favorite Texas Roadhouse.
In fact this Easter was projected to be the highest spending Easter on record for food and other items sales. Several conversations with a few business owners have said the warmer weather and vaccine rollout are giving them a much needed boost.
This was evident in our views yesterday. Stores that were open on Easter were indeed packed with people.
As for us, we have been pretty much been doing this throughout the pandemic. In fact there are more of us that have followed this suit. We have worn masked where expected, stayed 6 ft. when possible but continued to live our life.
Many different views from the medical community and those that have actually tested positive are still devided.
I myself, have even gotten mixed signals from the medical doctors. One says take the vaccine, another says no because it is a greater guarantee of blood clots with my prior DVT/PE history. I guess I will wait a little longer and see.
I have been in & motorcycling through seventeen states this last year moving about through numerous hotels, restaurants, stores and other businesses. I am a rebel, stubborn, or just a miracle but I guess I'll continue to wear my mask, social distance, continue the good hygiene while putting myself in God's hands and continue to live my life, pandemic or not.
God Bless Ya'll,
Nana
