I had meant to get this posted earlier but "Late" is better than "Never" so here goes... Presents and Steak... What A Perfect Day!
LongHorn Steakhouse has carved a niche in my go to place as big as the Ponderosa.
On Mother's Day like every year we found everywhere was packed but The LongHorn did not disappoint.
The brand is red meat, fairly easy to find a table to dine and good food!
Walk in and you may start recalling both "Bonanza" and "Rawhide." Here's a restaurant with a theme right down my alley. The ranch house-style sprawls with decor defined by boots and saddles, framed belt buckles, bull-riding art, a hint of Frederic Remington and, of course, branding irons and longhorns.
The stampede to LongHorn may rekindle some memories of vintage TV Westerns. But its appeal suggests the name of a different show: "The Price Is Right." An that is a good thing in my opinion.
Loved the spectacular favor cut of steak and side of salad fixed just right. No carrots to interfere with a nicely presented green masterpiece.
They even understand that "Eating" is a serious task. No wimpy utensils there!
I would have to say that in review...This Mother's Day was a success! There was no complaining from this momma or...
