A trip to Jefferson City was the ticket for our family.
I lived & worked in the Capitol City for something like 25 years.
In fact, I attended Freshman High & Jefferson City High School... Go Jays!
Attended & Graduated Lincoln University & University of Missouri there. I met my husband, had two daughters there. My parents, older brother and nephew are buried there.
It has truly been a homecoming.
The best part is now I can share the memories with my daughter & granddaughter today.
One of the first stops was our favorite ice cream parlor... Central Dairy.
Then after a City Tour Down Memory Lane, we stopped in to our new favorite Pizza fix... Pizza Underground owned by my nephew, Nick
You gotta know it's good when my granddaughter finishes every last crumb of the crust too! 👍
The Capitol building provided a great photo shoot spot for my beautiful granddaughter. ❤️
