5/4/2020 First Day Out Of Shutdown...

Over the past weeks, at least a third of the world has gone into lockdown. Their lives have been marked by ambient anxiety about paying their rent, morgages or etc. Plus just staying healthy. There has been a new founded passion for baking, and — at times — boredom.

For me I could not bring myself to tear out a bone on my unpacking of boxes or organizing the over abundance of prosessions accumulated from three households.

The isolation started after Jim & I returned March 21st, from our world wind trip to southern USA, in particular Florida. We self isolated and only left home for essential groceries "for most" for the first weeks.

It seemed at times that "Time" lost all meaning. I soon started sleeping in until 10am and then going to bed at 2am.

I became a couch potato watching TV,

surfed the web, and I read mostly to pass the time. I did watch enough News to keep abreast of the status of the State and Country.

As time went along we became more stressed from the boredom. We decided to get outside to enjoy our lone favorite pastime (motorcycling) when the weather permitted.

Now May 4th our State is opening up to a stepped program to back to business.

I will admit that I am skeptical that the remaining months and year will ever be back to our perceived normal. It will be a wait and see for all of us right now.

Good Luck and Will See Ya Later...
