Spring always brings beautiful blooms but also it can bring unstable weather.
Yesterday, as we had just finished our "Brunch" a powerful storm enter our area, sending us to the basement for cover.
It downed power lines, whole trees met their demise with others only losing limbs. In areas closer to Springfield it ripped roofs & sidings off. In addtion the storm line demolished an aircraft hangar and overturned trucks in and near Lebanon, MO.
We sat for 5 hours before power was restored. This was a stark reminder to restock batteries, candles and recharge power house backup battery pack.
We were thankful no real damage was done to houses or individuals.
I guess the chain saw will come to life again in the next few days.
