Got up to a pretty yummy Hotel breakfast of biscuits & gravy, make your own waffles, cereals, toast, jelly & peanut butter, bagels & cream cheese, yogurts, juices, apples and coffee.
Then went out to the bikes and the Harley Davidson had a flat.😳 I got out my trusted mini air compressor but nothing would work. Then called the Harley Davidson dealer. He gave us a tow company name but was not much help otherwise.
The tow driver gave us a name of a local repair guy. So a tire was bought from Cycle Gear, then had the Harley towed to the local guy to install.
As it turns out that Kenda Cataclysm tire was leaking around the rim and valve stem too... And considering, the that rear tire had 11,600 miles, it may not have gotten but a few more thousand even it was tubed.
New tire went on great and no leaks with new valve stem too. Everything looks grand for the small fortune it cost. (One good thing... He should get most of tow bill covered by insurance.)
The day's activities were scraped but we did enjoy our grilled pork chops at Texas's Roadhouse.
Today's we are crossing our fingers for a uneventful or... no unplanned negative occurrences.
