Whether you seek culture, community, or comfort food, there are some amazing festivals that prove that small towns from across the country know how to throw big celebrations.
YesterdayI was thrilled to attend (for the first time) The Otterville Street Fair, which had over 30 Vendors. Some of the examples were...
Sugar Cookies, Keychains, Scentsy, Hand soap, yarn crafts, wooden signs, Bucket Stools, Kids clothes and bows, Dog Supplies, Tupperware, Avon, Norwex, Fried Fish & Chips, Pulled Pork, Nachoes, Jewelry, Welding Art, Honey Ice Cream, Honey, Oehrke Cups, Freshies, Conservation Department, Fall Decor., Crafts for Adults and kids to make, Games for kids, and much more.
The 2022 Otterville Street Fair started to come alive that fine beautiful Saturday Morning…
Vendors were set up, Car Show was starting to get some participation, Music was playing, and some had Breakfast. At 10:00am the Parade started on the quaint Main Street. They Honored the Veterans at the beginning of the Parade. It was "Come one come all"
We were reminded to not forget to support the Otterville Pool Board in the Community Center by the Bank (it was cool air in there). They also had the Senior Citizens selling Food. The Otterville School Athletic Department was selling Raffle tickets, FFA selling Cow Plunk Bingo, Fire Department selling Raffle Tickets for a gun, and the Baseball team had a Dunking Booth.
They also had a Barrel Trains too, provided by the Otterville Baptist Church Youth Group.
To our enjoyment there was an amazing talent show @ 4:00pm! Then at 7:00pm, we enjoyed the Ol' Otterville Opry with more talent and laughs. 🤣 Then at 8:30pm, we enjoyed the music and dancing with Southern Smoke Band! (My cousin Ray was the lead guitar)
It was an awesome time.
We Came... we had fun!
