Another year. Where does the time go? I sincerely hope y'all had as good a year as I did. Right out of the gate, 2024 had proven to be the great. year. When I woke up last January 1st. and fired up the old dinosaur of a laptop to check my email?
What a surprise! A Hollywood agent had stumbled upon my blog, fell madly in love with me and my story, and offered me a not small fortune to write my autobiography and threw in a movie deal to boot! I even got the final say on who is to play myself.
Naw... Just kidding.
I think I was in McLain, Mississippi by January 1st. My dear friends (Duane & Vicki) have put up with me for several years now through my Snowbird Travels south.
Duane has made a few trip north to my lake house in the country.
It is so peaceful here.
You can fish and hunt to your heart's content.
Just this last month I had three deer in the front yard and an aquarium full of fish to scoop out when they tired of the backward stroke.
Of course I have a wood shop packed to the gill.
I have spent the year clearing through the furniture and given away some pieces for families in need. I am thrilled to find each morning that I are still mostly toilet trained and can make it to the toilet before everything runs down my leg.
While rest of the world are employed, I've been busy with hobbies... mainly motorcycles, and busy writing and overseeing that movie project that hasn't been offered yet.
Although my daughter does tell me I need to write a book. Other great thing has happened this year, I was able to fund research that led to a cure for stretch marks, saggy boobs, and cellulite.
I try not to wear my string bikini because it might be too temping to my gay neighbor! I am not so shallow that I've limited my funding to things that make me look hot.
You can also thank me for this discovery: the combination of wine and cheesecake, when taken together, in large quantities, have dramatic health benefits. I know! Who knew?
The cheesecake blocks damage to your liver, and the wine flushes out the calories in the cheesecake.
Why this wasn't realized years ago is a mind boggling shame. So... This has been mostly my 2024 if ya don't count the back pain since July and trouble standing or walking for any length of time. Hopefully today's injection will slide me out of 2024 with better times.
