1/25/2024 What's not to like?

People don’t necessarily hate the fact that rain is a thing, It does provide drinking water and water for the plants, which will benefit our food system, so on and so forth. Anyway, people dislike constant rain for a few key reasons. A) Survival. When it is cold and dark, there is a limited amount of Vitamin D being taken in for the body. This also weakens the system and limits the amount of energy that the body has, therefore contributing to getting illnesses. Not to mention, rain (in large proportions) would contribute to flooding, which kills and damages property. B) Working. As I said before, being in the rain limits energy, and makes doing tasks much more difficult than they would be in the sun. More clothing is required to keep a person dry and warm, and the effectiveness of somebody doing work will be affected. C) Depression. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a condition that some people suffer from, especially in the winter time. Every person has some degree of a lack of motivation or a general feeling of drowsiness in the darker and colder months, which is why many people get tired of constant rain.

So I sit here trying to just tell myself... Learn to dance in the rain, girl...

But it's getting harder with age.

I'll leave it to the youth.

This old girl might just go back to bed. Lol!
