We continued our cruise along scenic Hwy 98. The road was filled with beautiful beaches, small quaint towns and plenty of historic charm. A must see for anyone wanted to see something other than Interstates highways.
However, there was a dark cloud of devastation still present in places from prior years of ravishing storms.
Supplies for our lunch was just a convenient stop at an "old" but quaint Piggly Wiggly still operating for the local clientel.
We found a pleasant stop along the beach for lunch with the Seagulls.
A little grey skies but that did not touch the sunshine we had inside. Another wonderful Meander Day!

Mexico Beach got ruined by Michael in 2018... The damage to the forest is still clearly visible for miles along I-10 far inland... Panama City was so lucky that the worst went east of them... I think there would have been a large loss of life if it hadn’t... The drawback to living along the beautiful Gulf Coast... Not a matter of If but When on a major hurricane......
