10/17/2025 An Impromptu Trip To Town...

It was a sudden surprise to get woke up yesterday by an annoying beep from my smoke detector near my bedroom door.

Of course the house was void of all "9" volt batteries so that meant a trip into town to pickup the most important things: batteries, toilet paper and other spontaneous shopping must haves.

Since I was out and about town I took the opportunity to eat lunch in my car at our local park.

Dunnegan Park is packed with ducks, swans and a few peacocks.

Hence the reason for lunch in the car. They have been known to swarm around food.

It was a peaceful & relaxing stop.

I love this time of the year too.

The foliage is in transition, temps are comfortable and everyone is back to school, work or wherever they spend their time after the summer.

It was a great day in the neighborhood...
