10/21/2023 Hard Is On Vacation...

Well, maybe between the hard it is enjoyable times like riding into town on my Yamaha to just enjoy a leisurely day.

I had a blast eating breakfast, lounging at the library, visiting my kids and then later snacking in front of my evening favorite shows.

Another joy this last week was October’s Solar Eclipse

Millions of people in the Americas were in a position to witness an astronomical treat last Saturday with a solar eclipse in which - the Moon was seen passing in front of the Sun

The eclipse was visible along a path covering parts of the United States, Mexico and several countries in Central America and South America.

The one that occured was a type called an "annular solar eclipse."

Because the moon is farther than usual from Earth during an annular solar eclipse, the moon was not completely obscure the sun, instead looking like a dark disk superimposed atop the sun's larger, bright face in the sky.

The eclipse momentarily look like a ring of fire surrounding the dark disc of the moon.

Also, something to put on the calendar for next year is the total solar eclipse which is due to occur on April 8, 2024... passing over Mexico, the United States and Canada.

Anyway "Hard" is on vacation around here!!!
