As my mind wonders this quiet morning I find myself looking around my house and thinking of my Architecture coursework many years ago. Oh how I loved those days of study. I may have missed my calling for not going with that profession. A love still lurks in my heart. Absolutely love talking, reading and discussing the topic. For instance... In my opinion the Seven Wonders of the World are the best form of architecture ever built and seen. The Taj Mahal, The Great Wall, Pyramids of Egypt, Leaning Tower of Pisa actually proves the point that architecture is an age old art and profession.
Modern day architects have geared up to make a mark in this creative field. The Taj Mahal is an exquisite piece of architecture of all times. Not many people know but the only piece of architecture or construction that can be seen from the moon is the Great Wall of China. During the Classical Greek architecture period, it was made up of three different orders that are most commonly seen in their temples. These three orders were the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian.
One of the best places to experience traditional architecture is Egypt. The pyramid of Egypt, the Sphinx, makes us think about the creativity and efforts of architects in olden days.
Anyway, that is my mind rambling this morning...
