Well today was marvelous until I opened my eyes and was itching all over my hands, arms & back.
I immediately looked up advice on the net! That the go to now days. 😂
From my research it can take 24 to 48 hours to notice symptoms. ??
I may have gotten my first case of bed bugs in all the years that I have been traveling.
I am surprised because the first and next night seemed like some nice places.
I immediately showered, and went to laundry to disinfectant my clothes that was in the room.
Thank goodness I only brought in my purse so... that got a good wipe down too!
A quick stop a Wally World for Hydrocortisone & Benadryl that helped to relieve the itching.

All was well with the world again!
The sky was beautiful, and temperatures were getting close to 50+°...
All seemed perfect or at least for those few hours.
I get about 30 miles north of Jackson, Mississippi when I look back and see no lights on the trailer. I stop as soon as I find a suitable pull off.
Yep the trailer plug was hanging. I push back in the receptacle and thought "That's Good"!
Well the Mississippi highways are full of bumps and holes galore & not too many more miles and there was a couple that I could not miss. The plug popped out again but this time I could not get it to stay in... It was drugged to death!
I stopped to inquire a few places but absolutely nobody was working on the Friday before New Year's Day!
Next guess was to call Camper World in Jackson.
Yes! They worked me in right away and did not mind at all relieving my wallet of $102 for 17 minutes of work.
I now regret that I didn't just do it myself. It might have taken me a bit longer but I could have done it. I just hated to get out there & do roadside work.
The new plug (the plug which was mine that I carried for emergency like this) installed and worked until I hit a few more holes but this time it did go back in and worked good there after.
I am watching now more carefully.
I think I need to relocate the receptacle to see if that totally fixes the situation.
Any hoo... The day was exhausting & I was hungry so I stopped for the night at a another hotel.
Today should be a quick destination arrival.
Yippee, I'm ready to stop! 🎉 👏
