I love my family...

As a voting American I have my own opinions but rather than going political.

I feel that I am just proud to be an American.

We know that it all started in early times with explorers sailing the ocean blue.

So it is said in 1492 Christopher Columbus right or wrong was given the honor of finding the Americas.

Brave men and women settled & survived the harshest conditions of a wilderness country. Settlements multiplied which lead to a chain reaction in which the United States of America was formed. Independence, liberty, and equality, America went through huge suffrage to gain rights and fought for them with pride.

Being a descendant of Native American & German Immigrant my early ancestors must have gone through huge steps just to get a taste of equal rights.

Our brave soldiers continue to fight for our nation’s safety, rights and security. They stand strong to defend everyone no matter the political views of our nation.

Hispanics, African Americans, Native Americans, and even women have all had to fight for their freedom.

We the people have continued to flourish and be an envy to nations world wide.

People from many nations try to come here to enjoy our rights and freedoms.

In the Middle East women can’t even show their faces, some places slavery is still legal, and other places where the number of children you may have are limited.

All of these harsh realities make me thankful for where that I live and all the opportunities given to me.

To be specific our fore-fathers and our Constitution has given us something not all nations have...

Our basic rights:

1. Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.

2. Right to keep and bear arms in order to maintain a well regulated militia.

3. No quartering of soldiers.

4. Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures.

5. Right to due process of law, freedom from self-incrimination, double jeopardy.

6. Rights of accused persons, e.g., right to a speedy and public trial.

7. Right of trial by jury in civil cases.

8. Freedom from excessive bail, cruel and unusual punishments.

9. Other rights of the people.

10. Powers reserved to the states or the people.

This nation has come far and is even though in constant vigilance. This is a nation of: FOR THE PEOPLE... BY THE PEOPLE.

I am proud to have the opportunity to marry a wonderful man, raise two beautiful children and be an a doting grandmother in American.

Yes, I am proud to be an American, with the ability to buy any product I want and on any day, ride my motorcycle to anywhere to my heart's choosing including across this beautiful USA!

I Am A Proud American!
