First Stop was to visit a place & story of a once thriving local grocery store.
Stopped by Salem Church Camp which grew out of the Methodist movement of the 1800s when pastors rode circuits, it isn't formally affiliated with the modern denomination's Mississippi Conference, established back in the middle 1800's. It depends on donation for upkeep. However most of the visiting pastors are ordained Methodist.
Could not leave the area before we tried the Fried Green Tomatoes at The Whistle Stop Cafe in Wiggins, MS.
