It has been a few gloomy days of dark rainy hours. We had taken to time to run errands, replenish the cupboards, refrigerator, freezer and pick up the mail from the post office box. Our favorite breakfast spot had not forgotten our faces. It has felt good to be back into the familiar routines. We are indeed creatures of habits.
My house has held up fantastic through the few months of our absence. Too bad the house makeover fairies did not show up. I guess it will be up to us to get off our butts and get things done. I have such plans and goals for this year. As soon as we gets some rest from our travels for a few more days, then the tasks are on full steam ahead.
I am a little disappointed with the cycle shop after my call to them. I had hoped my Trike would be done by now. Can you believe that they still have not started on replace it's motor yet? I keep getting the same old reassurance we are going to get to it soon... It's not April yet. Oh well I am trying to have courage to accept what I can not control but this is mind blowing. I am out of options of where to take it if they do not do it.
Oh well trying to find the sunshine somewhere! I did enjoy a smile for the day with a sign I noticed on my neighbor's fence along the road home....
I wonder if someone is a Withering Heights fan?

Wow, still not started on the engine swap.... Sounds like not many folks have the gumption to tackle a GW engine swap these days! I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you! I know you are sick of waiting for this work to be done! We had a gully washer yesterday/last night here, many inches of rain over a long period... I figure the next pics I share will be of flooding around the area....
