I watched the TV series "Then Came Bronson" as a young preteen with my dad. We both loved it short run series.
I was mesmerized by the nomadic lifestyle on a motorcycle.
In reality I have found myself leading that lifestyle in my retirement.
There is a excitement to ride off into the wind with just a direction in mind and open road to lead you to any adventures you can find.
However, the flip side is it can feel sad that you yearn to share all the moments with someone.
Since my husband's death I have lost that other half that lived to hear my voice, my journeys and moments even when we weren't together. He definitely was my biggest cheerleader.
When he stopped riding and he sent me off to complete my bucket list items, I always knew he was eagerly waiting to see my pictures & hear about my memories I was creating.
I yearned and searched to find those wonderful journeys & feelings once again.
We all need Someone To Love & Someone That Loves Us Back.
Life Can Be A Long Lonesome Highway, So... hold on to your loved ones.
Tell them everyday how much they mean to you.
You will never know if that will be the last time you talk to them.
Love is what it's all about...
I am thankful for my blessings,
Amen Jesus!
