5/25/2023 What A Day!

Updated: May 30, 2023

Yesterday was a very busy schedule...

At 8:00am I had to be at the Ford dealership to meet the insurance adjuster for the hail damage to my pickup.

Then it was an attempted rapid drive to Green Ridge to attend the Grave Site Service for my Aunt Nina.

I can't believe that she lived to be 104 years old. My uncle Charles died in 1996 at age of 74.

I always felt horrified that I missed my Uncle Charles', Aunt Jeanne's Funeral, and a slew of other relatives funerals because our older brother never informed the rest of the family.

Everyone thought he was the trusted family notification person.

I and others in our immediate family only heard about our extended relatives passing weeks or months later. ☹️

So... Yes, yesterday I was determined to try to be there if I could at all possible.

Well of course the morning ran long, appointments had to be kept, gas & wardrobe issues too delayed me to miss the funeral. 😢

I did try but it did not work out.

I Hope Your Day Ran Better Than Mine.

P.S.

Well my truck was "Totaled Out" because of hail damage. However, Missouri law allows me to keep my original title with only hail damages.

So Yes I chose the option that allowed me to keeping the truck... Since I've already been paid I can't keep full coverage. Which will actually benefit my wallet too.

Update: It appears that I can have collision and comp for other things like deer, theft, fire but just not hail damage coverage. That seems strange but that's what agent told me... ??
