5/26/2020 Rain Is The Name Of The Game...

Life is not always full of sunny days. There are days you’ll have to deal with less than perfect circumstances, or tumultuous events. Like rain and storms.

The last month has been many days of hunker down. My trees across the property can attest to these days. Especially those that lay across my fences and landscape.

It has become a game of running around between the rain events.

Over the Memorial weekend we scurried each day to avoid the wet droplets. We beebopped down to Branson for the afternoon on Sunday. Due to the miscalculated weather advisory we decided to stay at Savannah House, a hotel I had stayed at on many occasions before. I always enjoyed the beautiful decor, scrumptious evening snacks and morning breakfast complementary with the room.

As predicted the rain set in for the evening so before we made it home Memorial Day we stopped in Springfield for another rain jacket for Jim.

Of course the rain had given us a reprieve for this time on the ride home and we were thankful for that!

In the end I am always reminded that even paradise sees its share of storms, but in the end, it's still paradise!

I hope you find your day to be the best even through the storms.
