The calendar says May, but the weather says July. 🔥
The weather man said we were nearing record-high temperatures, close to the 90s forecasted from eastern portions of the Plains into the lower and mid-Missouri and Mississippi Valleys the last several days.
Of course, along with the heat there is summer-like humidity, a sharp change from recent chilly weather for us in the Midwest.
I'm at least relieved that it was not as hot as Missouri's record temp of all time!
You see... On July 14, 1954: It was "The Hottest Temperature Ever Recorded For Missouri: 118° In Warsaw And Union." 🔥
Most of yesterday was hibernating in the air conditioning while rushing to church and jumping out of the car's air conditioning to the church's air conditioning. Then making mad dash to the car before Hell's Heat began roaring enough to fainted. A free Sauna was not really ordered but here we have it.
Good News... There was cold ice cream & drinks!
Today will now be rumbling storms with wind and rain!🥴
If you do not hear from me... send in reinforcements! 🙄
