Update: A couple days ago I reluctantly drove to a local medical facility to be tested for a Urinary Track Infection (UTI).
It was not the way I wanted to spend my earmarked resort money & there diffinately wasn't room service.
However, they did provide me with a cup and I was told I was the one that had to supply the liquid.
Heck they even suggested I shouldn't have a carbonated soft drinks or sugary drinks in this place or home for the foreseeable future. One suggestion I could have was cranberry juice until I reminded them I am taking warfarin
So water it is now. What a bummer!
The one diagnosis I wouldn't have minded was...
However, it was more like...
I actually realized my hearing was fine because I was hearing in the next hallway every bell, whisle and fog horn going off periodically. The ambulance roared a couple of times too.
As I left I walk through the hall, I estimated just about 3/4 of the patients on the floor are of an age where their hearing has gone, therefore the nurses are raising their voices or searching for those megaphones.
Before I left I thought I would drop by the cafeteria to grab something to eat so I could take my first prescribed meds.
Then I realized the cafeteria had those cheap TVs with tinny lil speakers turned up way too loud and the voice as if from a fast food lane from which it can't be distinguished from whaaa...whaaa.
So it made me consider checking out the mental health floor (do they have TVs?).
I even caught a free shot like "Ethel" as I walked past the x-ray wing. 😵
I was told I would be on the mend and they had a special parting gift... pills to make sure I enjoyed a new exciting orange color unrine for the next couple of days.
That all for now from Club Med Bare Bottoms Club.
Have A Wonderful Day!
