As the heat continues we have heard repeating tales of places & hotels continuing to experience full booking even on what used to be the slow weekdays.
We booked a last minute hotel room for our Casino run.
It was a good thing because we found staff turning away people without reservations.
Everyone must be traveling after their COVID-19 Vaccinations. I have read that even the National Parks are requesting reservation to enter now with thousands visiting. This might alter my travel plans back to the Black Hills in SD.
For now we are buzzing around local.
Our return trip was dubbed A Wing & A Prayer...
We've had a wonderful run through the Hell Heat. We could not asked for a more beautiful day otherwise.
This trip we were glad to be back into the cool...
The silver lining is that these hot days will give me excuse to do indoor house projects I've been putting off.
