7/1/2025 In Search Of Cold Water & Ice...

What I would do for a cold drink of water and ice right out of the door again!

Apparently, I would have to spend $85 for ice maker... Plus actual refrigerator & filter cost... 🤪

Why? Because good hydration is associated with reduced fatigue, higher mental acuity, improved productivity and better overall health.

When you add ice, it makes for a more appealing beverage. Plus, everyone appreciate ice for other beverages as well.

Also, Known Benefits:

• dispensers filter water already delivered through the refrigerator or whole house filter can be a fraction of the cost of bottled water.

• Something like from dollars a gallon to pennies a gallon.

My real motivation was in the beginning September 2019 when I moved back to my lake home, I found my side by side refrigerator with ice & water in the door had sprung at leak in the filter housing.

So now 6 years later I had thought my dilemma was over.

Nope... I had to purchase a whole new refrigerator when my current unit purchased in 2000 finally bit the dust along with all my contents in the refrigerator/freezer.

Whew what a smell!

Now the new refrigerator is just a regular two door top freezer model.

I decided it was ok to revert back to simpler design since now a whole house filter has been placed on the water source as it comes into the house.

Also. I have found that the Budweiser metal bottles work better than the plastic water bottles.

My refrigerator now looks like a drunk lives there! 🤣

Oh the trials and tribulations in Life! 🤪
