Branson was my destination for a little escape for a day or two.
It is the home to more than 200 shops, including those found at Tanger Outlets, in historic Downtown Branson, in Branson Hills, and at Branson Landing, Actually there is 95 acres of shopping, dining, lodging, lakefront living, and a variety of entertainment in the area.
The Branson skyline has in the last few years welcomed a new addition... Formerly known as the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, now the Ferris Wheel has made its home in Branson, Missouri.
Also, the Ferris Wheel has an ELECTRIFY Music & Light Spectacular every night at 9:00pm,10:00pm, and 10:55pm!
Best thing it is all free with electrify 144,000 LED lights dancing to music through the Track 4 sound system.
If you are within a few blocks away, you can also tune your radio to FM 98.1 to fully experience lights spectacular & music.
There are also several miniature golf courses where you can enjoy playing through waterfalls, lost treasures, volcanos, old sailing ships, dinosaurs, castles and dragons.
I always wanted to experience the Titanic Museum. You are assigned a person that was actually on the voyage. You experience their world that fateful night with the iceberg...
Other opportunities in Branson that are unique... perhaps a stay in a covered wagan with modern amenities of course...
Branson even has one of my favorite restaurants... Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen!
This time around I chowed down on their scrumptious burger & fries... Half was left for a later snack.
It has been a Wonderful Day In The Neighborhood!
