Here I am 56 years ago... The boy is my little brother.
The pool was small but we were happy just to have anything back then.
Life was simple. We were happy with the things that we had. We had no A/C in the house, no whirlwind vacation homes. Just us going to the lake if we were lucky. Dad worked long hard hours and was away all week. We had just a few short days with him and he would be back to the grindstone.
Sweet memories all the same.
