Still thinking about yesterday's fabulous day of sun, a few errands accomplished and riding in the wind with beautiful views, friendship & food.
It couldn't have started any better than running into an old friend I worked with in State government many moons ago on my impromptu run to the Osage Beach's Home Depot.
We caught up over a late breakfast with all the details of retirement now, happy & sad things that happened since we last saw each other.
I accepted the gracious invitation to hang for the afternoon & eventual evening bbq at his beautiful condo at the lake.
Then we pulled ourselves away from the condo view, food and conversation for an evening viewing of the lake via convertible & random roads that the GPS suggested. Boy, that was fun. 😉
Even though I broke my rule of no night riding Phoenix knew the way home...
I only had two near miss deer encounters so the rule will definitely go back in force at least for the motorcycle riding. 😵💫
