The giants are here — dozens of them, and each nearly twice the height of the Statue of Liberty.
Our adventures yesterday on the way to our dinner date at Joplin's Texas Roadhouse, was an impromptu ride among "King’s Point Wind Farm", which included 69 wind turbines in Jasper, Dade and Lawrence counties, all around Golden City, Missouri.
These modern wind projects are using larger turbines that are easily visible within 15–20 miles under clear weather conditions.
These monsters can be found nestled amongst the corn and cattle pastures. Quite the sight up close and personal! 😳
