The heat wave may dissipate but the rain will flow. Nothing is worse than having plans ruined by a rainy day. Tomorrow will most likely mean waking up to a foggy and wet mess outside which will immediately dampens one's spirits and makes you want to do nothing more than roll back into bed.
While these days make activities limited, there are more than a few movies that could help the day proceed a bit smoother.
One positive to a rainy, stormy day is that the weather serves as a perfect ambiance to certain films. Whether the characters on screen are also suffering rainy conditions, or the pitter-patter outside ads to the experience, watching a movie on a rainy day with a favorite snack in hand could be just the cure for the rainy day blues.

1.Casablanca (1942) A film that is often regarded as one of the best ever made is prime for viewing on a rainy day. 2 Spirited Away (2001) ... 3 Mary Poppins (1964) ... 4 Cast Away (2000) ... 5 Titanic (1997) ... 6 The Princess Bride (1987) ... 7 Harry Potter Franchise (2001-2011) ... 8 Jurassic Park (1993) ...

I've heard that "The Ranch" featuring Ashton Kutcher who stars in a Netflix-original sitcom is fantastic. Ashton as Colt, who returns home to his family's ranch in Colorado after his semi-pro football career ends in failure. Colt plans to run the ranching business with his father, Beau (Sam Elliott), whom he hasn't seen in 15 years at the time of his homecoming. In addition to proving himself to his father and navigating family dynamics, Colt is torn between his current girlfriend and his high school sweetheart, Abby (Elisha Cuthbert), when she expresses doubts about her fiance.“
I've heard that the show is an absolute attention-grabber, and also has many comedic implications throughout the series. It could be enjoyable and great for those of us that are looking for an excellent drama series to watch!
Let the rain begin... I'll be at the Movies!
