Life is not a dress rehearsal—this is probably it. So I'm going to make it count. Time is extremely limited and goes by fast. I've decided to do what makes me happy and fulfilled. I'm done with doing stuff that doesn’t make me happy (this happens most often when other people want you to do something). I'm not spending time trying to maintain relationships with people I may not even like, and I'm avoiding negative people. Negativity can be really bad on the mind & body.
I'm not letting myself make excuses for not doing the things I want to do.
Gas prices... Be Damn!
I've been looking forward to this for months, and now the date is almost here—it’s time for that big road trip I’ve been dreaming about. I’ve got my route planned and I know the major attractions I want to hit, but there are still a few more decisions & logistics I need to consider. My first choice will always be my motorcycle but I have to be realistic about my body and endurance at my age.
Specifically, I need to make sure I choose the right vehicle & that my vehicle is up to the task -
So...
Oil change completed ✔️
New Parrelli Tires x 4✔️
Lights (left rear brinker bulb replaced)✔️
Car Vacuumed/Washed/Waxed✔️
Bags Packed & Loaded✔️
Snacks & Drinks Packed & Loaded✔️
Now when it’s all done, it’s time to start the planned adventure West through familiar and also new territories.
My goal is to see Bryce and Zion National Parks and a few lights & slots jingling in Las Vegas.
Where I go from there will be totally impromptu.
I Think I'll Be Lovin' It!
