"Colorado here we are" and...
The views are magnificent!
The town of Salida boasts a wealth of trails for mountain bikers. It sits as the crown jewel in a ring of 14,000-foot peaks, the town is a hub for those seeking challenging terrain and variety of riding.
Salida is actually named for the Spanish word for “exit,” an appropriate name since it is located near the mouth of a canyon of the Arkansas River.
We found one of the most breathtaking drives, Colorado Highway 92 which crosses over Blue Mesa Dam and winds along the north rim of the Black Canyon, it provided gorgeous views at every turn.
