7/19/2020 I'm In The Clutter...

We’ve all have those filing cabinets or maybe drawers filled with stuff we can’t seem to throw away. You know those files, like credit card statements and other old records from over a decade ago.

And then there are the personal items: the crusty bouquet of dried roses I’ve kept for years (a relic from my husband), the giant stack of books from my college days still gathering dust in the corner, the endless piles of my stuff and boxes of Christmas cards & decorations that I had bought on sale.

It's a fight to let it all go. However, the task is beginning. The trash is burning with the clutter.

Thanks goodness for that timely rain that allowed that absolutely beautiful bonfire to roar!

Now if our respiratory system will recover we are all set.

Yesterday, I took a truck load of furniture that had resided in my home for decades to the Salvation Army's thrift shop.

I had bought some of those items used and even repurposed them with shiney new coats of paint back in the day.

It was time to get rid of all the clutter and let go of the memories.

Problem is that I have now spent days ridding my home of trash and clutter.

It is exhausting to realize I still have far more yet to go.

Please pray for me.

You will find me under this mountain of stuff still to be removed.

Back to the clutter pit... I will try to update you if I have the strength!
