What in your life is calling you?
When all the noise is silenced, the meetings adjourned, the lists laid aside and the wild iris blooms by itself in the dark forest, what still pulls on your soul?
In the silence between your heartbeats hides a summons, do you hear it?
Be honest, name it or leave it forever nameless but I won't pretend it's not there.
Mine is a yearning to see and do the unseen and the unknown.
My restless soul searches for the daily new knowledge.
Even if it's just finding the beauty of a new field of sunflowers in a nearby neighborhood.
I rejoice at the splendorous view and the wonder of how unknown it was to me until just a few mere days ago.
I was always that strange kid that was hooked on encyclopedias. In my childhood I could be found most days quietly reading them for pleasure.
I promised myself that I would see and experience all that I could one day.
While some detest their smart phones,
I rejoice at the computer knowledge I can have at my fingertips.
The keyhole to the places that will beacon me, the foods that I yearn to taste, the smells of the world for me to explore.
I hope you have enjoyed my rambles of life, thoughts and meanders that fulfill my desire to live life always learning something new daily.
