7/21/2022 Day 11 - Casino Hopping...

Remember in "Viva Las Vegas," Elvis Presley sings a wish for more than 24 hours in the day to spend in the city that set his soul on fire.

If even the King himself couldn't cram all of the city's wonders into a single visit, what hope is there for the rest of us?

I have been to several Casinos in the past but can't imagine a way to experience every variety of Vegas.

This trip we decided to take in just a few top places.

First on the list: The Venetian Resort. This is where art and history combine with fun and excitement creates a fantastic in place to begin Casino hopping. Plus it is my favorite!

The Venetian Resort was completed in 1999 and was envisioned as a tribute to the famed city of Venice, Italy. It was the location of the honeymoon of Mr. Sheldon and Dr. Miriam Adelson. To recreate the city’s landmarks and charm, artists, architects, and experts conducted extensive research in Venice. To ensure every last detail of The Venetian Resort was faithful to the original. In my opinion, it was a monumental success... I can not believe that this is all indoors! 😁

Next was a quick trip around Caesar's Palace.

Caesar's Palace was founded in 1966 by Jay Sarno and Stanley Mallin, who sought to create an opulent facility that gave guests a sense of life during the Roman Empire. While most people think Julius when they think of Caesar, the casino is decorated with imagery of various Roman leaders of the Caesar line. And though he went with the iconic family name, Caesar's Palace founder Jay Sarno was predominantly inspired by Emperor Nero, famous for his debaucheries.

Then New York, New York...

Sitting on one of the busiest intersections on the Las Vegas Strip.

The resort truly does bring the experiences that are found in Downtown Manhattan straight to "The Strip", from broadway style performances to the abundant and lively nightlife.

When touring the hotel and casino, we quickly took notice of the exquisite detail that the architects put into its construction in order to create the illusion of the Big Apple.

It felt like a trip around the world... Venice, Rome, and New York City. We were too tired or Paris would have been on the flight plan. 😊

Now with all the heat 🌡️& exersion we were admitted into The Heart Attack Grill...

We were discharged with instructions of rest back in our suite for a full recovery. 😄 What A Great Day!
