Yesterday was a huge disappointment. I was up early to get ready to receive my new refrigerator that was to be delivered between 10am - 2pm.
At 9:59 I get a text that approximate delivery time would be 1 hour & 17 minutes.
No problem I was ready. 👍
At 2:15 I call the logistics company contracted by Lowes. I sat on hold for 37 minutes before a representative answered. Then when I explained I needed find out what had happened to my delivery, I was put on hold again for another 15 minutes.
Then I was told the delivery truck reported nobody was at home.
I insisted I was at home the whole day. They took my additional directions and informed me they would see if they could get in touch with truck and call me back. Well by 4:00pm I am on the phone to Manager at Springfield Lowes. He had the information and pictures of so call address that was not mine (even though they had my address on the delivery order.)
My address is on my mailbox along the road in front of my house. Number is also on a solar light at edge of road/yard as well as big numbers on my porch post. He remarked the picture did not have the correct number but google maps evidently pointed to my neighbor's house, which by the way, they get their mail on the side road. (Hint... Different address)
I have to give him credit for being apologetic and insisting they would see that they would have it to me tomorrow.
At that point I was hungry, tired and needing something cold.
Hopefully, today is the charm. Sure getting tired of refrigerator hunting and wallet robbery.
