First city on my road trip is Indianapolis, Indiana!
Indianapolis is known as "the racing capital of the world" because it's host to three of the world's highest-attended single-day events:
The Indy 500,
The Brickyard 400
and The U.S. Grand Prix Formula One race.
Of course professional sports are big here with the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Colts.
The reason I started my road trip in Indy is that my sister in-law (my older brother's widow) lives here.
First order of business after my arrival was for these two wild gal's hitting the town for lunch at
Leon's Mexican Cuisine.
I can verify that their "Taco Salad" was fantastic! 😋
There was definitely a lot of chit-chat we spent catching up on life & family & etc. with a intermission of ice cream snacks. 🤤
In fact we were shocked to look at the clock and realize it was midnight before we knew it!

Today will be a day of shopping for the 4th of July Celebration! 🎆 🎉 And whatever trouble we can get into today. 🤣
