7/30/2025 Those Round Black Things Matter...

Memories of a few years ago the road took my gay pal down to the cycle shop. His Harley Davidson front tire was in need of replacement. "Wear bars were showing so we had to go!"

Yes, there is, in fact, a bit more to tires than the fact that they’re round and black! It’s all too easy to lose sight of the details, but it’s our job to make good decisions, and these should certainly include when to replace our old tires, as well as what to replace them with.

The old saying “Your life rides on your tires” is still appropriate.

If you haven’t thought much about tires in the past few years, you might want to do yourself a favor by brushing up on the latest offerings from the major tire manufacturers.

Your knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject won’t hurt your cost on bottom line, either.
