Death and Taxes can not be escaped no matter how hard we try!
I have been doing my own taxes for years now. It started with working with the IRS in college. I volunteered to do taxes for the senior citizens for several years. I also did the taxes for my extended family too. Now I'm a senior citizen and still doing my taxes
I know I should have had my taxes done already this year, especially since we were all given an extension due to COVID-19.
However, I have gotten lazy in my old age. Plus days of getting anything back have been over for me for several years with my kids grown. The incentive is to keep my money in my pocket as long as possible.
Yesterday was the day to bite the bullet and file.
Long story short... No hair was harmed upon my head. Task was completed and monies wired. Check book wounded slightly but I will survive.
Now some peace and avoidance for another year.
