Growing up in St. Joseph, MO I was able to ride bikes in the neighborhood with my friends. We played outside until dark, ate watermelon and drank lemonade in the streets with our neighborhood block parties. Dads played street baseball with the kids and we were all little rascals. Everyone waved, everyone said "hello" with a smile. It was a wonderful life!

Belt Drive Inn was a favorite place for summer nights with my sister.
The family spent time here during those hot summer weekends. This was "not" our boat.
This was our boat!
