Saturday was the last day of riding in the Dakota's Black Hills. Every view was splendid!
A ton of riders were enjoying "Them There Hills Too"
We had intended to take the Spearfish Canyon Ride until I lost my wallet in Deadwood.
Thank goodness for Good Samaritans. With great luck a man found my wallet that fell out of my pocket. He said he had found my insurance card and call my company. The Insurance headquarters called me, giving me his information for me to call him. After a harrowing few minutes we rode back to Deadwood to pick it up. I was so Thankful!
Then I was too frazzled to go any further. Plus, considering the sky turned a dark grey with clouds to match. A decision was made to eat in Lead, SD at
Lewie's Burgers & Brews.
A few cool drinks and some food to relax the nerves, enabled us to ride to our base camp before the rain hit there too.
All in all... the day was still a huge success!
As we sat relaxing we realized that with just a few more bugs on the windshields for our collection, we arrived back safely and felt lucky as any casino win!
