Hello folks, this is Nana, coming to you from just a few miles north of beautiful, Bolivar, MO.
Growing up, my father taught me many things.
He taught me to be a person of my word.
He taught me to never give up until the job is done. Everything that made him the man he was, he wanted us to emulate.
His morals and standards were high, and he expected us to have those same morals.
Among his lessons were carpentry, remodeling and mechanical skills. In his words, “You need these skills to get by, because there will come a time when you will have to fix your own stuff.“
Over the years, my husband & I have done many home remodel projects. In that time, I have learned many things, sometimes through my own mistakes.
I am sure I will make more before my working ends.
This year I have found the years have taken a toll on the house my husband and I started building in 1994.
I will need to refurbish the porch again,
Front door is Ok after my new door install in 2020.
Now the porch light which have rusted or rotted needs to be replaced.
This is the new design...
Since a small cover over the porch may be in the development stages, I am planing on replacing it with a difference style as shown above for better placement.
More ideas are in the works but they might be postponed until next year for my Sciatic Nerve to cooperate with me.
Busy As A Bee...
So Tootles!
Nana
