In 1935 National Friendship Day began a tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends. Gradually Friendship Day has gained popularity in various other countries too .
It is true, "Friendship" is a special bond, second only to romantic love. We are more than just outer appearances, we are the sum total of the values we hold dear, the experiences of our lives, the knowledge and wisdom we gained, the moments of joys and hardships we've lived through, the books we read, the people we know.
I am thankful for all the great people who have cross paths within my life and became my friends.
